Invest Differently

Chip are a leading UK fintech, app-based savings and investment company.  Chip make it possible for people to invest in real assets, diversified funds and savings accounts. Designed for our generation to build wealth.

In order to find new ways of engaging with their customers and help separate them from the competition, Chip engaged with TheCarCrowd to explore classic car investment. Finding a way to offer their investors a way of diversifying their portfolios, with low entry costs but potential for higher returns than traditional high street products ISA's.

Choosing Cars To Appreciate

Chip engaged with the CarCrowd  to help them curate the best automotive assets with the greatest potential for appreciation.

Classic cars have appreciated 164% over the past 10 years*

We utilised our FCA regulated**, fractional ownership platform to provide the legal framework as the back-bone of this venture.

We used our expert knowledge and network of contacts to find hidden gems ready to offer Chip customers.

After thorough research we identified an 1800 mile, LHD, Classiche Certified Ferrari Testarossa which had the perfect story, history and condition to be the first alternative asset brought to the Chip platform.

To help convey the investment story behind the Ferrari Testarossa we co-branded an asset landing page. This allowed potential investors to view in great detail, every aspect of the supercar, from service history and Classiche Certification to a detailed photo gallery of the exact asset they could invest in.

A regulatory compliant email campaign, targeting Chip's half a million customers helped to raise awareness of this exciting new opportunity.

This entire curation was setup within weeks, ready to launch.
